Trick or Treaters ready to hit the streets for Candy This gang of Trick or Treaters are ready to get some candy!

Treat or Treating time is coming up soon – from the candy to the costumes – Halloween is s a fun-filled time for all, but it can pose dangers to young treaters.  By following a few simple safety tips your goblin is sure to have a safe and fun night of pumpkins and candy galore!

Choose a light-colored costume and be sure to add reflective tape or better yet glow in the dark tape to the costume – shoes or trick-or-treat bag.  Make sure to only purchase costumes that are “flame-retardant”.  Assure wigs, beards and masks do not cover the eyes, noses or mouths and any props they may carry such as wands or swords are light weight – short and flexible. Remember you will end up carrying it in the long haul!

When you arrive home with the goods – make sure all treats are sealed – dispose of any candy with torn packages and any homemade treats that weren’t made by someone you know.

Enjoy the night – Be Safe and remember to save some candy for yourself – you certainly deserve it!

Happy Halloween!
