Inspect your Christmas Lights!

Now that our tummies are filled with Turkey and another Blessed Thanksgiving is in the books it’s time to break out the Christmas Cheer and begin decorating for the Holidays. Check your lights and decorations to assure they are operating correctly to prevent from any disasters in advance. We pack up our decorations and think all is well, but you never know what little creatures (squirrels – chipmunks etc.) that’s had some fun chewing on your lights while you’re on vacation. Always inspect your wiring on your lights and other decorations for frayed cords and broken wires. Replace any strands of lights that flicker on and off. Keep live trees away from any heat sources and turn out your lights when leaving your home or turn in for the night. Better to be safe than sorry!
