Home washing machine flooding after a faulty water line Washing machine water damage!

How often do you check the water line to your washing machine? If you are like most people hardly ever until you walk in the utility room and water has covered your clean flooring.  Weather you have had a small leak over time or a complete overload of water damage, your washing machine can cause some major damage if not checked often.  Small leaks can cause mold to gown in places you cannot see. Water supply lines that are faulty will open your eyes quick!  Most washing machines are installed with a rubber supply hose connected to hot and cold faucets behind the unit. Over time, these hoses can deteriorate and cause leaks.  Inspect hoses monthly and replace if you see any signs of deterioration. Never start your washing machine if you are planning on leaving your home. If you experience water damage call SERVPRO – We are there for you!
