Water damage can happen for many various reasons. Most damage occurs from a broken water pipe or roof damage to your business. Water damage can cause a stop to your business operations and put your employees and customers at risk. Having a checklist of your water sources in  your business can greatly reduce the impact and damages that could occur.

• Insulate exposed pipes
• Inspect gutters and down spouts for debris
• Keep your HVAC system maintained
• Make sure you and your staff know where to locate the shut-off valve
• Inspect bathroom faucets- toilets and pipes monthly for any leaks
• If your breakroom has a refrigerator with an ice maker check your supply lines
• Inspect sprinkler systems monthly
• Replace old piping and fixtures on older buildings
